Write With
The Roch Society

Real bylines. Academic credit. Mentorship from published writers.

The Roch Society is a charitable community of writers devoted to dogs. We publish research, interviews, and travel writing read by dog owners in 40 countries. We are always looking for curious, careful writers and researchers to contribute. The work is remote-friendly, fits around your degree or job, and can count towards academic credit.

Writing

Write features, reviews, and interviews for an international dog magazine. Real bylines, real editorial feedback, and your name on our site and socials.

Research

Dig into welfare data, hotel standards, and policy gaps. Your findings feed directly into the Roch index and our published research reports.

Communications

Grow our audience across newsletters, social channels, and the Roch Society community. Content strategy, scheduling, and community management from day one.

Internship

A structured programme with a learning plan, weekly editorial mentorship, and a formal reference letter for your CV or university supervisor.

What You Get

  • A byline. Your name on rochsociety.com, read by 40,000 people — not a work-experience folder.
  • Academic credit with a letter to your supervisor explaining exactly what you contributed.
  • A reference from the person who actually edited your work.
  • Our network — writers, editors, hoteliers, and dog welfare researchers across 40 countries.
  • A portfolio you can send to any editor in the world.
